Describes the KAS scale, a new composite anxiety scale that comprises items on the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-168 (MMPI-168), a popular short form of the MMPI. Relevant normative statistics and the KAS scale relationship with other MMPI scales are discussed. (Author/KS)

Prior theory and research have suggested that self-disclosure may have a curvilinear relationship with psychological disturbance. The present study investigated this hypothesis. Results offer partial support for the hypothesis and add substantially to the external validity of prior research. (Author)

The reliability of an abbreviated form of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), the Mini-Mult, and its degree of correspondence with the MMPI were evaluated with a sample of 60 hospitalized schizophrenic veterans.
