The development of Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-Adolescent (MMPI-A) scales to measure the Personality Psychopathology Five (PSY-5), a model of personality, is reported. Thurstone's scaling based on judgments of 527 students and 37 clinical faculty members was applied to the Beck Depression Inventory, the Zung Depression Scale, and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory and fitted the observed data well.
