A Comparison of Non-Adjusted and Bootstrapped Methods: Bootstrapped Diagnosis Might Be Worth the Trouble.
Greenblatt, Richard L.; And Others
Educational and Psychological Measurement, v52 n1 p181-87 Spr 1992
The diagnostic accuracy of nonadjusted and bootstrapped diagnosis was compared using a sample of 1,455 psychiatric patients who completed the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory. The usefulness of bootstrapping depended on the criteria for accuracy. Conditions under which bootstrapping might increase diagnostic accuracy are detailed. (SLD)
