The authors examined the validity evidence for a newly translated Chinese version of the Dispositional Hope Scale in three samples. Results indicated that the two-factor structure better fit the data than the one-factor structure. Findings provide evidence of configural validity for the scores but only indicate partial factorial invariance across groups. (Contains 5 tables and 1 figure.)
