Family Functioning as a Correlate of Disability Adjustment for African Americans.

Describes examination of family strengths model designed to delineate psychosocial adjustment factors for African American clients. Results suggest correlations between acceptance of disability and nature of family functioning. Family strengths contained in model were found to be predictive of adjustment.
