This document, identified as Part V of a loose leaf handbook, is the 1977-79 supplement for Parts II, III, and IV of the original handbook, 1976 edition. Part II of the handbook listed tabular data concerning credit by external examinations such as the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), the Advanced Placement Program (APP), and the American College Tests (ACT). Part III provided additional or explanatory information, and Part IV was a directory of relevant college officials. Information is tabulated alphabetically by states and by colleges within states. The entries in Part V are additional colleges and revisions of previous entries. For headings and explanations of symbols, it may be necessary to refer to the original handbook. Addresses are provided for the college officials to contact regarding credit-by-examination, as well as an index by state name. (CTM)
