This report presents a narrative and evaluative description of the operations of South Central Educational Service Unit's (SCESU) pupil personnel services, serving 36 secondary schools in southern Indiana. The main topics discussed include: (1) the history of SCESU's mobile counseling services, (2) a description of the geographical area, (3) the development of procedures prior to, and during, the presence of the mobile counseling center at a particular school, and (4) the feedback procedures utilized. A summary is given of pupil personnel services in the mobile counseling center. Discussed are the impact of mobile counseling units and psychometric services and an evaluation thereof. A summary of recommendations and comments from the overall evaluation is followed by examples of evaluation instruments.
