The Relationship Between the Size of Elementary Schools and Pupils' Perceptions of Their Environment
Peer reviewedMoracco, John C. – Education, 1978
It was found that there were differences in students' perception of their schools' environment when schools were classified as either large or small. Large elementary schools seemed to have less influence on students' perception than did small schools. Students in small schools perceived a closer, warmer relationship with their schools.
