Socio-Humanitarian Aspects of the Problem of Development of Spiritual and Moral Consciousness of Contemporary Society: Means of Education
Education in the Asia-Pacific Region: Issues, Concerns and Prospects
The research aims to consider artistic culture as a process of reflecting the spiritual and moral consciousness of contemporary society as an integrated product of socio-cultural, artistic, and aesthetic human activity. The research is of sociological, philosophical, and cultural nature. The research analyzes the existing values, worldview attitudes, and guidelines of contemporary society. The authors try to determine which determinants of culture affect the development of a human's personality, which forms a person's system of views and behavior. The vulnerability of the psychophysiological sphere of a person and the predisposition of the individual to rapid change in spiritual and value orientations raises the question of finding means that contribute to the practical acquisition of axiological landmarks and meanings, mastering the principles of creative freedom, social self-consciousness, and cultural identity of the individual. The results obtained testify to the need to form a conscious system of aesthetic attitudes and norms that determine the behavior of individuals in contemporary society. The main determinant of the formation of a system of views and relations in the moral and ideological culture of the individual is the social environment. It influences value-significant, semantic, and figurative ideas of a person about the world and creative activity. Socio-economic transformations testify to global changes in the culture of individuals, affecting their living conditions, inner world, perception, and thinking. Art creates its forms of communication and aesthetic models, which currently accumulate a new socio-cultural sphere of people, characterized by a weak level of development of spiritual and moral consciousness.
